Kaylee could sure use some prayers right now. We don’t know what’s going on. Saturday we were watching a movie. She was sitting in the recliner when out of no where she began to have excruciating pain in her right lower back. She could barely move and was screaming. She tried to get up but fell to the floor. She refused to let me take her to the ER. I gave her Tylenol and tried to message it but it wasn’t helping. The pain continued throughout the night. Tylenol didn’t even touch it. Thinking it was muscular we continued to massage it, applied heat, ice, and biofreeze. All to no avail. Yesterday she finally agreed to let me take her to the ER. My fear was a kidney stone. They checked her urine which showed nothing but an elevated ph, and took an xray of her spine which we already knew would be normal. Told her to take Tylenol and ibuprofen and said she could be constipated. I reminded them that she can’t have NSAIDS because of her VWD. She’s continued to take the max amount of Tylenol with zero relief. I gave her some miralax but that too has been no help. I had her struggle through various different stretches. This didn’t help at all. To me, this doesn’t appear to be muscular since she has had zero relief from anything that should provide some. She’s not even able to stand up for long due to the pain. I’m taking her back to the doctor this morning but we could use some prayers. Prayers for answers. Prayers for knowledge and empathy from the physicians and prayers for relief.
