Please forgive this blatantly self-serving post, but today was, or would have been, our 2nd anniversary. We only got to have one anniversary together, and we never got to go back to the Arboretum ourselves.

Two years ago, many of you were there on the best day of my life, when my most cherished dream came true and Katy let me put my ring on her beautiful finger, and put hers on mine, where it remains.

Tonight I went back to the spot, I brought her ashes, sat on the grass, watched the video and yada yada, you know the rest. It was a spectacularly beautiful evening, warm and clear with flowers bursting out everywhere; she would have been in heaven. 

(In a meaningless coincidence, our 2nd anniversary today also happens to be day 200 without her for all of us.)
