Katerina's (Katy's) family would like to thank you all and this community for your continuous thoughts, prayers, and support. It has been an unbelievable outpouring of support. Going forward, they ask that we use this tool to share updates on Katy. We will post updates as frequently as we can. 

A lot of our family and friends have been asking how they can help. Here are a few ways that you can help us: 

1) Please continue to pray for Katy and her recovery. Your prayers are very much appreciated and we have seen what the power of prayer can do for Katy and the family. 

2) Please check this site frequently. Any and all information relevant to Katy's health and status will be posted here as often as possible.

3) We appreciate every message, and we promise they are being read.  Please continue sending messages of support even though the family may not be able to respond.  As you can imagine, they are spending all of their time on Katy's recovery.

4) Please do not bring flowers to the hospital. They are not allowed upstairs and can't be left in the lobby. 

5) The hospital has designated a space for guests in the lobby... it is marked with green signs. The area is limited since we have to share space with all other patients' visitors.  Also, if you see that the space designated is at capacity, please feel free to use space in the outside patio of the lobby. Lastly, please use masks provided by the hospital in order to comply with their policy. Please remember this is a working hospital and everyone must pick up after themselves. No playing sports or games (ex: volleyball).

6) In terms of food, we are currently covered and appreciate the intent. If needs arise in the future, we will update here.

7) Please DO NOT bring food for all the visitors in the lobby. The hospital is providing visitors with snacks and water.

Status and Update - Friday, 03/10/2023

Katy had a smooth transition to the Lynn Rehabilitation Center yesterday. We are encouraged that Katy has the opportunity to continue her recovery at this state of the art facility.  

Katy & the family cannot thank the entire team at Baptist Homestead Rehabilitation enough. The therapists, doctors, nurses, and CPs were amazing.  A special shoutout to Caroline and her incredible therapy team: Miriam, Chris, Tania, Mari, Michelle & Hector. You all will be forever in our hearts.

Please continue to pray for Katy as she starts a new chapter of her road to recovery♥️🙏🏼
