Hi everyone! Katira here. I’m happy to report that my most recent PET scan was clear! It was a bit of a rollercoaster over the past month: a CT scan, insurance denials, a trip to NYC for a second opinion, a PET scan, and a follow up appointment. But after all that, my doctor has confirmed that I am considered “in remission.” I am still taking some medication and will have following-up scans every few months to monitor, but it’s a huge sigh of relief to feel like this chapter is over. 

Now the focus is on Malinda and Max’s wedding this Saturday! We are in the last whirlwind of getting everything ready and it’s all looking absolutely beautiful. I’m glad that we get to put aside all of the craziness of the past year and focus on celebrating two of my favorite people.
