Mom (Katie) has been through a lot in the past few months. After a hospital stay for pneumonia her doctors discovered a spot on her lung which was diagnosed as lung cancer. Fortunately the tumor is “in place” and has not spread. Mom underwent a procedure on June 19th to make sure her heart was healthy enough for surgery. She came through that really well and so the “big” Surgery is now scheduled for July 1st. We’re hoping the surgery will be performed robotically which will spare mom a more painful and lengthy recovery. Our extended family thanks you for keeping mom in your thoughts and prayers ❤️
