Welcome to our CaringBridge website. A lot of people have asked for updates on Katie’s surgery and recovery- and we really appreciate the concern- so we’ll be posting updates here to keep from using a massive group text.

We walked some laps this morning with success. Appetite is up  and symptoms are much better in general than yesterday. 

The doctor was by this morning and said Katie could go home as long as she is able to walk around some, sit up for a period of time, and doesn’t have the light sensitivity she was having. We’ve checked those boxes and are working on getting the discharge process going.
