Journal entry by Jodi Blumhoefer —
Hi Katie's Krew,
This is going to be a short post. The day has finally come. After entering the hospital on January 22, having a cardiac arrest on January 27 and several more updates, moves, and pleas to the heavens, Ki Ki is coming home.
It may be a cold, rainy, snowy day outside, but our hearts could not be more warm. She is going to stay with Mary Rose at Zach's house until she gains more strength and is steadier on her feet. She will continue with her therapies and doctor appointments, but we get to have her home again with us.
Thank you for all your love and care, your thoughts and prayers and your supportive, encouraging comments. It carried us all through.
