Around May, Mom started feeling a bit of exhaustion and thought it was post COVID symptoms,  she powered through the summer but it wasn’t her normal active summer,  she enjoyed being outside but didn’t get after her flowers, garden and any other thing she could think of to be outside.  


In late August, she started to lose her balance, strength and her vision was being affected.  She went to Lake Region in Fergus Falls for multiple tests but nothing was being identified.


In October, she was admitted to Sanford Health in Fargo.  Since her admission in October, the doctors have continued to run tests and scans.  They found that she does have calcification of discs in her thoracic region which may be cause if some of her issues.   They have been getting closer to a diagnosis and have begun treating her for an auto immune disorder.  The medical team is still running tests to find the root of the auto immune response.

Heart Felt Thank You

Words cannot express the love that our family felt over the past few days.  We can’t thank you enough for the all of the kind gestures as we celebrated the life of our dear Wife, Mother and Grandmother.  She was an amazing woman and will be missed by many people.

When you see a beautiful sunset, grab your favorite person or persons, your favorite beverage and watch it together.  Take time to enjoy it and know she’ll be sitting there with you watching  with her beer in wine cup with some green olives floating around.
