Kathy Joy Deka is my Mom! <3 She is a Breast Cancer Survivor of 13 Years!  She is a Kidney Cancer Survivor of 2 1/2 Years! She is currently battling Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma or simply put the kidney cancer has spread into her tailbone and hip. She is managing with an immunotherapy medication named Inlyta. She is trying to take the maximum dose that she can function comfortably. It is harsh on her system and there is only so much she can handle. 
TODAY Mom tackled Day 8/10 of Radiation Treatments!  She says it is horribly familiar but not as scary as the last time she had Radiation in March/April and was so very ill.  She's smiling and listening to some old songs on the radio.  We reminisced about the Beach Camping Friends of the 70s and 80s and how the different songs reminded us of them. <3 
Mom and Aunt Karen enjoyed some Italian Beef and Peppers Sandwiches and Aux Jus on yummy Italian Bread from the Country Bake Shop.  
She is enjoying phone conversations with her friends and FaceTime calls with her Family.  We are trying to fill her days with as much laughter as possible.  Today was a GOOD DAY!  We Love You Mama <3 You're a tough fighter!
