We went to see Kathy yesterday and good news she was alert and was able to talk with us, she is still struggling with eating but she did receive her red Gatorade she wanted and had success at drinking it. She talked about wanting to get out of there and get on the road to recovery which will hopefully happen soon. 
Today she had hopefully her last surgery on her leg and that happened early this morning Doctor called and said all went well everything looked good so they were able to close it up for healing to start.
Keep prayers coming as she really wants to start the healing and getting better!
At this time Kathy is being bounced around from room to room so not sure where she will be after another surgery so you are welcome to send cards to my home and I can bring them to her.
