Journal entry by Katelyn Evans —
We had a BPP, Biophysical Profile yesterday which baby Camden passed with flying colors 8/8! More importantly baby’s blood flow from the placenta through the umbilical cord did not show any absent systolic pressures, laymen’s terms— he’s getting better blood supply now!! The ratio of diastolic to systolic is still a little high, 5.15, meaning there’s still a slightly abnormal pressure ratio from when the heart is at max effort to its resting period. They like to see the ratio be under 2.. but, the takeaway is baby is getting continuous/improved blood flow!!
We also learned that baby is not considered fetal growth restricted as he is in the 22% percentile. He’s a little peanut, but NOT identified as FGR. Praise God!
Soo, baby Camden is doing GREAT right now.
