Hello, Kate and I are back from our adventure out west to New Mexico!  It was a great trip, Kate got to reconnect with old friends and with new ones made.  We stuck around the house we were staying in ( thank you Cheri for allowing us to stay at her house.  We spent a little over two weeks there and then from there we headed East for the solar eclipse, we started looking at all of Texas and the chance of clouds were high, so we continued east and heading on a northern direction.  We ended up in a field in Arkansas with some very nice people.  The eclipse did not disappoint and we were in darkness for at less three plus minutes.  After the eclipse we were invited to meet Gary’s mom Reba, a delightful 86 year young person!  We had another three days drive to get back to Virginia.  

A very entertaining and interesting adventure for us!
