Dear Family and Friends,

Just a quick update on Kassie. As you know Kassie received her first chemo treatment last Wednesday. She felt good until yesterday, but now the chemo has started to affect her with nausea and other unpleasant side effects. She does have medication to help manage some of the symptoms, and resting will be crucial for keeping her strength up and hopefully helping her feel better. Unfortunately, this is just the beginning, and the next couple of months will be challenging.

Many of you have asked how you can help?

Since Kassie hasn’t been working since March, we would like to share a Go Fund Me account we have setup for Kassie and Trey.  Here is the link, and we will also be sharing on Facebook.  Fortunately for Kassie and Trey they have health insurance, but deductibles, unexpected expenses, and the financial strain of being a young couple who recently purchased their first home and are planning for their baby makes money tight. Any help will be greatly appreciated during this stressful and emotional time.

On a brighter note, the nursery is painted and Trey and Kassie are getting everything ready to welcome Baby Liam. They have created their baby registry at babylist.com.  Here is the link for anyone interested in helping purchase some fun baby items! We can’t wait to meet Baby Liam and want to ensure Trey and Kassie are ready when the time comes.
