Karter Louise’s Story

Site created on June 27, 2021

Karter Louise has been a fighter since day one. With a sub chronic hemorrhage 11X9 CM in size, it's been a long journey. At 21 weeks, I went in for what I thought was uncontrolled hemorrhage bleeding. After multiple tests, I heard the news (alone and scared as hubby was at home) that my water had broken. Admitted for 2 days I had no sign of infection and Kater was doing amazing, I got to go home for a week. Now we are in it for the long haul! As long as we don't get an infection and Karter stays growing, I'm hoping I can stay pregnant another month. That'll put us at 27 weeks! Even then, Karter will have another long fight/journey ahead.  Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting
