Karla woke up early yesterday morning with pain in her chest when she breathed in. Her doctor ordered a CT scan and that showed spots on her lungs. This afternoon they did a biopsy of the spots to see what it is. Likely some sort of infection or leukemia growing on her lungs. We’re hoping at this point that it’s the leukemia as that would not delay or disqualify her from the clinical trial. If it is infection we need to “control” it before we can move forward with clinical trial. We will get results around the middle of next week. The biopsy went well and she is home now. Please keep up the prayers.
