Kari’s Story

Site created on July 24, 2022

Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

On July 21st Kari was taken to Trios by ambulance for a medical emergency. At that time she was unresponsive and not breathing. She continues to be in ICU why they treat various conditions caused by ganegreen due to her gallbladder. At this time we still don’t know if it all started with her gallbladder or not.

Due to the sepsis her organs were failing and she had a heart attack along with liver and kidney issues. She continues to get kidney dialysis to try to get her kidneys functioning.

She is fragile an has been through so much in a week we are just thankful to god that she continues to fight.

Currently until she is more stable she can’t go through any type of surgery at this time, we ask you to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as this journey continues.

Good Morning ☀️.  Chad and Scout are headed to Portland this morning. Scout’s church did a prayer blanket for Kari and the hospital has agreed to put it in her room. Hopefully while there they can meet the team and every day we just pray for some good healing news. The last couple days were pretty quite she has had a few small positive changes with her kidneys and gallbladder. Right now it’s day to day and I’m trying not to say to much because everyone needs to understand she has a lot going on and things can change in an instant. This is a very serious health crisis with so many things going on alls we can do is hope that god is giving her the strength to heal and fight. Kari is fighting for her life in every way right now and this could be a very long journey. Please send healing thoughts, maybe jam out to some good music she would love that, look up to the stars ⭐️ and show gratitude for all we have, pray 🙏 a lot, wear some tie dye (all things to send positive healing energy).
