Karen’s Story

Site created on June 29, 2018

Update as of yesterday...

Pulmonary dr came in and showed us scans of the tumor, fast growing, inhabiting one whole side of her lung, around rib cage, and moving towards pulmonary artery. It’s filled with fluid. Growing into the nerves of her chest wall which is what is causing all the pain. Radiation is a no go because the area is too large. Chemo won’t help because it’s too fast growing and chemo won’t touch it before it basically suffocates her. They are recommending hospice now and she has only weeks left. The way she is right now is how she will be.

Please send thoughts to her husband, kids, grandkids, and family
