Update on Mom dr appt on June 1st. She meet with Dr. Speer, radiation oncologist and Dr. Jose her primary oncologist. They have decided to try radiation 1st. She will get 5 treatment on each tumor. She will do treatments 2 or3 times a week. They will do a new scan in 2 months to check for any new activity. They will continue to monitor for changes. If they see changes it would warrant stopping radiation and starting either chemo or an immunotherapy. They scan she recently had done showed no changes so that’s good. She will have initial radiation scan and likely start radiation 10 days after that. Right now we are waiting on insurance approval before we can start any of the scans. They said there would be minor side effects. I will update when we finally have dates set.
