Surgery was 6 weeks ago tomorrow already!!

I went down to the surgeon and even tho I begged he made me wait the weekend. 

So this morning I went to clean my drain and saw that the stitches had moved maybe an inch and a half beyond where it should have been. I called hoping I could skip my appointment and pull it myself. Of course that was a no as well. Lol. After I was there I heard “well I couldn’t tell you not to come but should it have fallen out on its own!” Lol. Dang! There was no more suction so it had to come out no matter what. But I feel better knowing she laid eyes on the whole healing process. Which is looking great! 

Back in a month!

Oncology appointment went well also. Numbers are good. No chemo or radiation needed. But she wants me to take Arimidex for 5-7 years. I’m on the fence about that. I’ll do more research and discuss again. Worse comes to worse I’ll try it for a month. If I’m not happy with it I’ll drop it. It was scheduled to be delivered today but I called it off until I have time to process if I want to take it. Plus I’m scheduled for a bone density scan to make sure my bones are strong. Certainly don’t want to waste it. 

So that’s it. Slowly trying to rebuild my stamina and keep busy. There’s still swelling and my stomach needs more healing time. 

I’m getting there!!
