Journal entry by Hannah Guttormson

Quick update…. Kaleah and I have been home for a couple days now… and are settled in nicely. I am thoroughly impressed with how quickly kids heal. I keep joking about how she won’t remember any of this, but mama was/is traumatized. She is all smiles now that we are home, doesn’t act like she is in any pain, and has been eating up a storm!! Minor side effects from the antibiotics have resulted in several blow out diapers and bed/wardrobe changes along with the car seat being disassembled for a good wash!! Many bad SHITuations! 🤣💩🤣💩🤣 Otherwise we are doing great!

We stopped in for a quick visit at daycare today so she could see all her friends and staff! I was reminded how much all the staff care about her (and me) and are so thankful to them for taking such good care of my babe!! We go back to physical therapy Monday, follow up with her primary care provider Wednesday and see her surgeon for follow up in one month! I am able to stay home with her for another week to continue the healing process and get all the baby snuggles! THANK YOU ALL for the prayers, well wishes, and healing vibes sent her way!!! ❤️❤️❤️
