Hello Prayer Warriors!

We wanted to give everyone a quick updated on Miss. Kaitlynn. Thank you for all that continue to ask about her and are still keeping her and our family in your prayers.

God continues to give mom and dad grace to bear Kaitlynn’s recovery process with strength and patience. We continue to cast our cares on Jesus and find peace knowing His plan for her. Again, Thank you to all who continue to pray with us daily for Kaitlynn’s full recovery. His will for her to be well in mind, body, soul, and spirit is evident each and every day.

She went back to school at Westmont College in August as planned. It has proven to be challenging this semester, but her grit, determination, and god’s healing hand is prevailing. Miss Kaitlynn is taking a full load this semester, and through God’s help, she is conquering what we have termed “learning how to learn again.” Watching the empowerment of the Holy Spirit work through her is so amazing to see. We feel SO incredibly blessed for his saving hand on her life.

She turned 21 on the 14th of October, a birthday we were told by doctors she would never reach. Although her birthday mark’s the date of the accident, we all felt overwhelmed and so moved by the Lord’s power to have her with us.

We can’t thank you all enough for your kindness, warmth, love, and endless prayers for our entire family. A lot of you have been asking how Baylen is doing. We are happy to say, God has shown his strength and power to us again through him. He was in such a dark place trying to understand and accept what his “sissy” and our family was going through. By following God’s direction (mom and dad following His guidance, although it made NO rational sense to either of us), Baylen is doing much better. We are slowly watching our beautiful son become a kid again. Thank you Jesus!!

As a family, we have come to realize the “after math,” of dealing and managing our family’s suffering caused by this accident, is just has hard, if not harder, than enduring the initial accident. It is our faith in the Jesus and completely trusting His plan for her that keeps us all moving forward. Slow and steady, God is placing all of the broken and shattered pieces back together for our family. The Lord has physically shown us his goodness will alway triumph over evil. After the devil came after Kaitlynn, angry  in God’s salvation of her, he then came after all of us. All’s we can say is thank you Jesus for your protection and guidance during such trying times. What God has done for our family is everlasting and will ALWAYS be a thankful memory.

We are looking forward to having Miss. Kaitlynn home for the holidays. Attached are a few recent photos of our sweet girl. She still carries a smile that fills a room. We are so proud of you Kaitlynn. Keep Fighting baby girl!!!
