Sign In to Show Your SupportOne week into my 5th round of reduced chemo treatment has had much less severe symptoms. I may have pushed it a little too much today by going to watch all 3 boys play NFL flag football today and as a result got sick a couple times this afternoon. The walking and sitting took a toll on my body, but it was worth it to enjoy the nice day and watch the boys play. It was the twin's 1st game and they were as aggressive as anticipated and Vaughn scored a TD the 1st time he touched the ball. It was very rewarding to get to watch this small milestone moment of the boys making me a very proud dad.
Graduation season is the time of year that so many of my friend and family members are reaching significant milestones in their lives. Seeing them reach these milestones makes me so happy, but will admit it brought me to tears today thinking that far out into the future. Nicole, my rock, reminded me that even when the information from the doctors does not always sound promising, they are not in a position to say how long this "ride" will last. Not sure if the doctors believe in miracles, but I do and my Faith will result it many more milestones!
Please keep the prayers coming and let's see how we can keep this "ride" going!
Thank you, Justin
