Newest Update

Journal entry by Linda Sutter

There is only Good News to report this week, after Julie’s CT’s and blood work at OSU on Monday and her appointment with her oncologist, Dr. Hays yesterday.

Her cancer markers were normal and scans showed NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE!

So we venture into the Christmas and New Year seasons with a sense of relief and thankfulness!

Julie will meet with Dr. Bartlett in Pittsburgh with a video appointment on Jan 5th to follow-up and confirm.

After good scans in September, Dr. B suggested lengthening her surveillance scans from 3 months to six months in 2024 and Dr. Hays concurs. Since surveillance will continue indefinitely, this will reduce the amount of radiation exposure. In another year or 2, scans could push out to annually!

So, thank you for reading this, and thanks for your care and concern all the time.

Merry Christmas!
