Journal entry by Elyse Krahn —
Our family grappled with a lot of decisions and options for her arrangements. The visitation will be held outdoors due to the desire to ensure the safest environment for all of the people who loved her, to gather. Anyone who would like to come on Wednesday is welcome to come and celebrate Julie’s life. If you have come into contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days or are feeling any symptoms before Wednesday, we politely ask that you stay home for the safety of everyone and as a family we are more than happy to share stories and gather at a later time. We are asking that everyone wears a face mask and are not serving food for the safety of visitors. We respect the wishes of anyone who prefers to stay home during this time. Her children have made the decision for the service to be private but will be live-streamed at 11am CST on Thursday the 3rd of September. Information for the livestream as well as the address of the visitation can be found on the Bradshaw website.
A $25 donation to CaringBridge powers a site like Julie's for two weeks. Will you make a gift to help ensure that this site stays online for them and for you?
