Hey everyone, We wanted to inform everyone that Julie had a CT Scan to check for any further cancer and at this time it is all clear as far as where the cancer was in her head and neck area. There were some nodules on the lungs that were spotted but they weren't of concern at this time.
The nodules in Julies lungs are about 2mm in size and appear harmless. Dr Spector was very optimistic that they were just “fungus ball” however we will follow up with another chest CT in 6 months to a year.
The Drs again seemed very excited to see her and especially to see all the progress she had made. They are super happy with the work they did and even happier with Julie and her positive fighting spirit!  Keep the good vibes and encouragement coming as Julie is still healing. This process could take another 6 months to a year before she will have an easier time with chewing/swallowing and her speech to become even clearer.  Thanks everyone for being such a support system for her!  I know it helps!!  Xoxo ❤️
