Newest Update

Journal entry by Judy Benjamin Snight

Things that seem eternal...Well, done with taxes anyways!
And the next generation is doing the hard work of giving us grandchildren.
All good here now.
I went back on IV chemo after over a year off.
It kind of sucked. I was pretty sick.
I was feeling so good the 2nd day in I walked 2 miles. I went to Reno and I went out for mexican food !!
I paid for it the extra day. Next time, I will be more calm and keep up the anti nausea drugs till the 4th day after.
My last round of scans showed no new cancer and the old, it's still looking kind of dormant but better safe than sorry.
I'm going to try to stay on the chemo through the summer and take a break in the fall.
Even though it's still kind of chilly, we are enjoying being home.
We came back from our adventures with a blown converter in our RV, and a heater which stopped working also.
Some of the potholes in Mexico were huge! The heater exhaust shook loose, so that was an easy fix at the shop.
We're not sure what happened to the converter, but we have a brand new one now. Pricey !!!
We had a lot of fun yesterday, we went to a baby rave in Reno. It was a fundraiser for a local Montessori school.
That was the most toddlers I had been around in years. The grandson liked it, especially the ball pit. He actually went up and danced with us in front of the DJ. which was adorable.
We are all really excited about our next event. We are about to have a baby shower for Heather and Adam's twins up in idaho.
Looks like the weather is going to be consistently warm for the next two weeks. So when I get back we'll be planting the spring garden. We're going to take out some lawn in the back and double our garden space. Wish us luck !!
