Journal
Good morning friends! We thought we would give a quick update on Jude! He’s adjusting to home, starting to be more awake for longer periods of times. He has been to the doctor twice since he’s been home..is now at 6.97 in the 18th percentile. We Are trying to get him to the 50th percentile so he can be off the fortified feeds of neosure...becuse that stuff is NOT KIND to his tummy. Poor little guy is up all night moaning and groaning with intermediate relief (thank God for gripe water and probiotics) he has a slight heart murmur..but the doctor does not think it is related to his premature birth...so we are being referred to a cardiologist to get that checked out.
Because of Jude’s mild HIE Diagnosis he is automatically qualified for The Babies can’t wait program. He will start that today, get and evaluation and plan. From my understanding Babies can’t wait is almost like a home therapy program the state offers to help children who are at risk for disability or have disability. Even though Jude is healthy and normal today they watch for anything that may come up down the road so we can get ahead of it.
Mommy and Daddy are exhausted but grateful. 😊 this weekend Kennedy and Elliott come home (they have been in Atlanta with Honey and Poppy to give us and Jude time to adjust in a calm home) WE are so excited to see them and for them to really get to meet Jude and spend time with him! ❤️🙏🏼
We are so so SO grateful for all of the love, prayers, donations, visits, etc. 🙏🏼❤️
