This morning when I got in, I was pleasantly surprised to see Juan sitting up in bed, eyes wide open watching tv. I said “hey how’s it going” and he responded, “good, how about you?” I said “great! What are you watching” and he started to talk about how it was one of the Wolverine movies but he wasn’t sure which one and he’d seen it before a few times.  There has been so much happen today that I feel like I could write a book, but I’ll just touch on a few things instead!

Juan is not having to be restrained hardly at all! They were restraining him because of the episodes of combativeness and trying to get out of bed. Due to the brain trauma/damage these episodes will continue happening at an unknown rate for an undetermined time and may never stop. They have shown improvement so far though. 

Juans was able to eat Cheetos, which is huge because of the communication of his brain and his body working together to actually get them into his mouth. He also brushed his teeth and was able to stay awake for multiple hours and interact without having to nap or stop and stare into space for hours. 

Can’t wait to see how tomorrow goes!
