I was recently diagnosed with lung cancer which further tests have revealed has now spread to my brain.  There are still a lot of questions to be answered.   More tests are being done to help the team of doctors put together a treatment plan.  We have the utmost confidence in the doctors (there is an upside to a career in health care!) and their compassion and professionalism to find the answers they need to put together the best treatment plan.  We ask for thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I had my last radiation treatment on the tumor in my lung today! We did 5 treatments in 15 days.  It went well.

I will have a scan in 2-3 months to determine how effective the treatments were.
