Here is some information regarding tomorrow’s services:
Following the funeral, which is at 2:30 pm, we will travel in a procession by car to the cemetery. At the cemetery there will be various military honors as well as the burial ceremony.
Shiva will begin at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary at Temple Israel. It is a gathering to pay respects to the bereaved and tell stories. Because this is being held in the sanctuary, there will be no food or drink other than bottled water, which will be provided.
Following the burial, we are planning to visit one of a few local establishments for food/drink before the Shiva.

Joyce’s name was read during the Kaddish at last evening’s Shabbat service along with a beautiful prayer. It was very poignant. 💙
