This is one of the best updates.  I spoke to the nurse today. My dad had a visit with mom.  She did cooperate with speech therapy. They need to test her to make sure she could swallow.  She is able to swallow but she is having difficulty chewing. They are going to put her on a puréed diet. She will be eating a lot of tomato soup , protein ensure shakes, ice cream. Etc…

the nurse also stated she helped mom walk two feet to her chair with assistance.

This is the best news.  God is not ready for mom and she’s not ready yet.
