Joe got released from Froedert.  He spent a few weeks in a nursing home on 27th & Ramsey for short term care.  He is now transitioning to a longer term care group home at 11250 W. Cold Spring Road in Greenfield, WI 53228.  He is due to arrive on 11/12/2020.  Unfortunately, due to a Covid case at the former place, Joe will need to quarantine for 10 days before he may have any visitors which at this point is outdoors only.  Window visits are allowed but not feasible as his room is on the 1st floor but 15’ from grade.  His mom & I decorated his new room and set it up for him.  The owner seems nice and it seems to be the best place available that is still in the area.  We also established rapport with one of the residents his age in hopes of fostering a friendship for Joe. He will continue to have speech, PT & OT therapy in hopes of making him stronger and more independent.
