Mama passed away the evening of December 14, surrounded by her family. She was peaceful. She fought hard until the end and gave this journey everything she had. She did it to have more time with all of us.
We are heartbroken, but we are also grateful for the memories we made over the last 10 months. What strength, laughter and love she has passed to all of us. And what a fiercely loyal guardian angel we have all gained.
Mama’s service is scheduled for Wednesday, December 22 at 11a.m. at St. Francis church. A reception will immediately follow.
While we don’t have all the right words we thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. Many of you have been by our side throughout this entire journey and we will never forget it. Mom didn’t deserve any of this, but your love helped her (and us) every step of the way.
Mom always used to say “don’t put off for tomorrow what you can do today”. While I used to roll my eyes and think things can wait, this saying means so much more to me now. Make memories. Laugh. Be kind. Help others. Tomorrow isn’t promised so cherish and embrace today.
Thank you again for your love and support. We hope to see you Wednesday to celebrate this beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
