Some of you have also followed the journey of Carson Sipe, another boy in our area who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma about 6 months after Joshua.  If you are subscribed to his notifications from CaringBridge, you've probably already seen his family's latest post, detailing their devastating news of the last several weeks.

Carson's osteosarcoma has spread to his lungs, growing into a large tumor now appearing in his left lung, with further details in their post.

We are crushed by this news and continue to plead for mercy and grace upon Carson and his whole family as they seek next steps.  Please join us in lifting up the Sipe family in fervent prayer.  

Lord, may you hold Carson and his whole family closely as you guide them through the coming days.  Our days are not our own--they are yours, heavenly Father.  Help us all to honor you through all things.  In the darkest of times, in the face of the hardest of news, we seek to reflect the love and goodness of the only One worthy of praise--it is in this powerful name the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, we pray for Carson, for his comfort and peace, for his body, mind and soul.  We pray for strength, stamina and steadfast faith for his entire family as they travel these harshest of days.  You alone, precious Savior can minister to all of these needs.   May your infinite love and full embrace surround us all.  Amen
