Joseph is now healthy enough that he and Karla were finally able to commit to quality time together and spend several days in Kona, Hawaii! As newlyweds this is time that they needed to catch up on in order to focus on their marriage! The day after they returned to California, Joseph reviewed his most recent bone marrow biopsy results with his doctor which indicate there is no residual trace of leukemia. This means that he is all done with bone marrow biopsies and will proceed with getting up to date on his vaccines. When he gets vaccines they will also do bloodwork, but nothing invasive. Joseph's health is improving, he is exercising and he and Karla did a lot of hiking in Hawaii. He is preaching a sermon this coming Mother's day at their church, he is helping his niece (Ellie) move out of her college dorm for the summer, and will be updating his resumes. All of these are the very normal things in life that were completely disrupted when he was diagnosed with leukemia. Praise God for the normalcy that is returning to Joseph's life and thank you all for your prayers. They were mighty and they were heard and Joseph is living proof of that!
