Joseph’s Story

Site created on August 19, 2020

Hello dear friends and family.  My name is Nancy Agro, Joe's youngest daughter.  As many of you know, Joe has recently learned that he has tumors in his stomach and other areas.   We are still learning about his condition and how to treat him.  Unfortunately, Monday afternoon, Joe had to be hospitalized due to his condition.  He is currently at St. Joseph Memorial hospital in Santa Rosa.  His loving wife, Maggie, has been working tirelessly with the care providers so that Joe can get the best care possible.  Joe is comfortable and stable right now, but as you might imagine, he doesn't like being in the hospital.  But, he does look cool in his Hawaiian hospital gown, and he likes that!

I set up this caring bridge to share information with all of you.  Maggie is spending a lot of time on the phone orchestrating all of this, and whenever they allow, she is in the room with Joe.  Although she would love to speak with each of you individually to express her gratitude to you, she just doesn't have the time right now.  You can send messages on this bridge, and she will see them when she can.

As we have more information to share,  I will post it here.  Please feel free to share your wishes and your love for Joe and Maggie here.  We hope that you can all have an opportunity to be with Joe and Maggie soon.

Take care and thank you for being with us in spirit during this time.

With much love, Maggie, Susan and  Nancy (Joe's daughters).
