You're invited to walk, run, or bike on September 24-26th, 2021 so every person with cancer has access to treatment - no matter where they live.

Join the Max-A-Thon Farther Together Team Today!

On September 25th, 2019 I was diagnosed with cancer. I completed treatment in 4 months and nine days. It was an intense journey that included a tonsillectomy, 11 rounds of chemotherapy, 25 rounds of radiation, as well as countless blood draws and scans. I'm currently cancer free and have minimal side effects. The hospital I was treated at was about 40 miles away from my home. I easily went there 50 times which means I traveled at least 4000 miles during the course of my treatment.

I don't like the phrase "I beat cancer" because it's not true. It's never an I, it's always a we. I am alive and well because I had a community of support: Family, friends, doctors, nurses, and drug developers. We were all in it together and because of that we beat cancer!

I'm part of the Farther Together team. We will be experiencing the patient journey and advocating for cancer patients worldwide. Support our efforts and those of people around the globe as we walk, run, bike or swim the cancer patient journey and raise funds for The Max Foundation.

So Let’s Go Farther Together! We can get life-saving cancer medication to people who have no other way to access the treatment they need.

Supporting my fundraising page is easy! You can make a donation to cheer me on and help me reach my goals or you can register and join my squad!

My hope is that by walking in the shoes of a cancer patient I can spread awareness and build health equity for cancer patients worldwide.

I appreciate your support!
