He is one happy man to be home again.  He’ll be on some oral medication for the next 10 to 14 days just to make sure his recovery sticks.  As far as the Doctors can tell, there are no lasting consequences, or damage, to his lungs, kidneys or liver. 

We want to thank the hospital staff—nurses, patient care techs, respiratory therapists, X-ray techs, phlebotomists, doctors and everyone that was involved with Jon’s care.  The staff at LifeScape has also been absolutely wonderful.  These people are doing their best to take care of these COVID patients, following strict guidelines about the precautions they are taking to prevent becoming ill themselves, or transmitting it to their co-workers, immediate family members and others around them.  You can say what you want, but trust me—none of us as healthcare workers signed on for this. You know in the back of your mind that something like a pandemic can happen. But you just don’t ever think that it will affect you or your loved ones.  

Thank you all so much for all your prayers!  God still answers prayer and the Great Physician heals and performs miracles. Jon is walking proof!  

And I’m sure Jon would tell you that he definitely does NOT want to see the inside of the ER, ICU, or the hospital anytime too soon!
