Tork has been given a discharge date of October 23rd, just one week away. In the next week, aside from continuing to work hard on his therapy, he and Shirley will be making arrangements for some minor adjustments to the house in anticipation of his return. A railing in the garage leading into the house and some add ons for bathing. He will be discharged with a walker but, with continued outpatient therapy, will hopefully not need that for long. Being approved to drive will take some time. Fortunately, Shirley has had some unplanned driving practice in the last few weeks, so is now trained and ready to start her new job as Tork's Uber driver. 😎 

Tork's discharge is such great news. You can hear the strength and excitement in his voice as he makes plans to come home. He is truly back on his game! 🙌
