Journal entry by joni wetmore

Well it has been a long time since the last entry ….. sorry about that.  Jon continues with many therapy sessions weekly and is seeing improvements, albeit slow.   He has cardio therapy (following the Heart bypass surgery) twice a week and is feeling much  better physically.    He is up to #10 weight restrictions now and does a lot of walking besides workouts at the cardio gym.   The Speech Pathology sessions for “re-wiring” his brain are 2-3 days per week.   There seems to be 1-2 other doctor appointments per week too and we are certainly putting in a lot of miles each week!   Doctors and therapists see continuing progress and reconfirm it is a slow process.  The outcome isn’t easily predictable, but they say the first year is wherethe most improvements are made.   Jon is diligent at doing “brain homework”  outside of the therapy sessions and his brain fatigue is getting a little less from day to day.   We so appreciate your continued prayers, cards & well wishes!   Thank you for continuing to bless us throughout these many months!
