It is with profound sadness that we share the news of John’s passing. Our hearts are breaking, especially for his loving wife, Meredith, and two beautiful children, Colin and Ben. Please keep them, and our mom, Linda, in your thoughts this week as we navigate this profound loss.

We are so grateful for the time we had with him and the memories we shared. He was witty and funny and sensitive and empathetic, and beloved by so many. His Facebook feed is full of messages from those whose lives he impacted, especially through his love of teaching and music. He was a cherished husband, a patient, loving father, a loyal friend, and a life-changing educator. His impact on others was truly inspiring, and his legacy lives on in everyone whose lives were touched by John.

We will miss him dearly, and his memory lives on in our hearts.
