After an interval of four months, instead of three, the result was still “all clear” on my latest CT. scan. TYJ! Next scan will be in October, 2024.

Also during this interval, researchers have identified markers for the circulating tumor cells (CTC’s) associated with bladder cancer. Dr. Kumar said these markers will indicate the presence of bladder cancer approximately 100 days before a CT scan would.

 Even though I have made a choice not to do chemotherapy, which won’t change, the 100 day head start would benefit any immunotherapy I may choose to undertake. So I will have the blood test for CTC’s done in October.

Bottom line, all else being well, I will go catching in the Boundary  Waters in June AND AGAIN in September! Not all liars are fishermen, but all fishermen are liars. Since I identify myself as a catcherman, NOT a fisherman, I will bring news of whatever I catch for both trips! (Can you feel my excitement?)
