Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement; more than anything, we appreciate your prayers. Once you have read our Dad's updates, we would love for you to join us in praying these words so that our voices might be magnified as one...


God of healing mercy, You stretch out your hand in compassion, restoring the sinner, healing the sick and lifting those bowed down. Embrace John now in your loving care. May the Spirit of Jesus bring health in soul and body, peace in mind. With joy and thanksgiving, we praise You for your goodness, Lord. We know that You are with us always and that nothing is impossible for You.  Fill us with your Spirit of hope. We lift these intentions to You, in Jesus' name.
 Amen.

We are so humbled and grateful for the prayers and love that has been shown to our family during this time. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 
We have solidified the arrangements for our Dad. They are as follows:

We kindly request the use of masks for these events.

 

We feel that our Dad would have found great joy in knowing his life is being celebrated on New Year’s Eve, as it was one of his favorite days of the year and we all know he loved to celebrate. We will share his obituary as it is published.

In the event that you will be making travel arrangements to attend, we have a hotel block at the Marriott Louisville East under "King Family".
