Journal entry by Roseann Fahrner

John has been home for 9 days and has made amazing progress. His voice and swallowing are back to normal, & numbness from waist down has almost completely gone away. No change in double/blurry vision. He can walk unaided and we walk daily. He also rides his bike on an indoor trainer 30 min. a day and does some PT exercises from the hospital. His neurologist was over the moon with his progress, although we cannot know how long it will be for a complete recovery. He is working some from home and by phone. He has an appt. with a neuro PT the end of the month and we are trying to find a neuro ophthalmologist who can see him soon. We are so grateful for our community of family, friends and church for the outpouring of love, help, and support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, John and Roseann
