Today is +13 meaning transplant day is 0 and this is day 13. So far John has had a fever on days +2 and +3, and +10 til now he has had mouth and throat sores, so he is on continuous pain medicine because he can’t swallow. Today he got blood and platelets and he had a reaction to one or both, fever, shaking, and his eyes dialed. Now he is really weak and has lost 10lbs.
The Dr.’s says this is all normal but it is sure scary to have to watch someone you love go through this. Once his counts start to go up (they are at 0 now) things should start to get better so please pray for his counts to start coming back! Thanks everyone 😘
