I was looking back to my last post and realizing it has been a veeeeeery long time since there was any activity on our Caring Bridge site!  Interpret that as "no news, is good news!"  Things have been going along very well and dad is thriving, by all accounts....including his own.

That said, he's turning 80 on December 16th!  Since we can't give him the birthday celebration we'd want, we're putting together a birthday card campaign and asking those who'd like to participate to send a birthday card to him during the month of December, in recognition of this very special day!  We're hoping to "flood" his mailbox with birthday wishes.  (Going to get the mail is one of the regular parts of dad's schedule and he will enjoy getting mail very much.)
