PLEASE DO NOT FEEL THE NEED TO DONATE TO CARING BRIDGE.  THEY RATHER AGGRESSIVELY ASK FOR DONATIONS TO THEIR SITE AND IT IS NOT NECESSARY OR EXPECTED.  This is my story of Brenduh and Debrah - the bad boobs.

Journal entry by Joell Stuckey

After 3 weeks on my new medication, I’m happy to report I’m tolerating it well. I will be taking Letrozole for 5 years to suppress the estrogen in my body due to my cancer being fed by estrogen. Starve that #*&@&$ if it ever has thoughts of returning. I will be monitored every 3 months by oncology to make sure my tolerance is still good. They started with a bone density scan as suppressed estrogen is not a friend to bone health. But with exercise and supplements, I’m hoping to stay the course.
I returned to work this week after a much needed rest. I have been touched by the show of support and understanding that my focus needed to be elsewhere for awhile. I’m ready to put this roller coaster ride behind me and go forward.
Lessons learned:
1.  Everyone has life going on. Not everyone you thought would show up will show up. Embrace the ones who are in a place to give. I had some sweet surprises.
2.  We have one body and one lifetime. Take care of your whole self at every chance. Chip away at bad habits. Do more of your good habits. Laugh. Smile. Let go of anger as often as you can.
3.  Don’t let your routine health screenings get behind.

Thank you for your support on this ride. Signing out. ❤️
