Joe fought long and hard because he wanted to stay with us, his family, so very badly! His last breath broke our hearts on the morning of June 14th. The funeral services for Joe have been arranged. They are as follows:
Rosary & Visitation will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse City
305 Sixth St Traverse City, MI 49684
Rosary on Thursday, June 17th at 4:30pm EST
Visitation on Thursday, June 17th from 5pm to 8pm EST
Funeral will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Traverse City, MI
630 S West Silver Lake Rd. Traverse City, MI
Funeral will be held on Friday, June 18th at 3pm EST
The final visitation will be held at Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron River, MI
Visitation in Iron River, MI on Monday, June 21st from 9am to 11am CST
Burial will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery in Iron River, MI on Monday, June 21st at 12pm CST
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, there will not be a luncheon for either service.
We will be bringing him back to the UP for burial, so please help us put our Yooper fisherman to rest. We encourage everyone to show their love by wearing their favorite fishing shirt or beautifully colored outfit.
