Joe was in Sanford Hospital from Feb 12-Feb 19 getting an intensive chemo regimen. He was back in Sioux Falls on the 20th for an injection to help boost his immune system. He will be back at Sanford on Friday, 2/23 for another chemo infusion then will be home resting for a couple of weeks. He will get blood draws every M, W, F to keep track of things. They expect him to need a transfusion in the next week or so. If all goes “well,” he will be back in the hospital from 3/4-3/13 for more chemo and will need another blood transfusion before leaving the hospital.  He will be off work for three months or more.  The thought of being off work for three months is stressful, and the last thing Joe needs right  now is more added stress. Please keep him and our family in your prayers.
