That title is sure catchy AND clearly the BEST news all year! Jobe had his CT & labs done at the Stevens Point Cancer center on December 22nd with an in person appointment to get results & physical check up scheduled with Dr. Onitilo for December 28th. However, the night of the 22nd Jobe got a phone call from Marshfield Clinic asking if he could talk with Dr. Onitilo in 15 mins….as you can imagine my heart sank & my stomach was upset—— what does this mean? Why does the doc want to talk to you now? We have an appointment next week to discuss the results. It. Was. A. Very. Long. 15 mins…until Dr. O got on the line & said everything on the CT looks good - continues to be cancer free! With that he also said no need for an appointment next week - catch up with you in 6 months (and say “hello to your mother”) Praise the Lord!
Jobe just completed his mechanical engineering co-op at Bending Branches where he designed & prototyped new components, jigs & fixtures and developed new production equipment. He absolutely loved the atmosphere, his co-workers & the product.
With a few weeks break here, he is home resting & rejuvenating before heading into his last semester of college. He is on track to graduate from Stout on May 4, 2024!
